Planned giving bestows a legacy of life!

Just as registering your personal decision about organ, tissue and eye donation ensures that your wishes regarding donation will be honored, planned giving ensures that your financial wishes will be honored.

You may contribute to the IOPO Foundation during your lifetime or upon your death through outright and deferred giving techniques, including:

  • A bequest in your will that may include cash, securities, real estate or other assets
  • Life insurance
  • Retirement plans
  • Charitable gift annuities
  • Trusts
  • Appreciated stock

These legal instruments can not only help you achieve your giving goals, they may be selected and structured to help you achieve specific immediate or long-term financial goals, including:

  • Receiving current tax deductions
  • Avoiding capital gains taxes
  • Reducing or eliminating estate and gift taxes
  • Avoiding probate costs

If you would like to include the IOPO Foundation in your planned giving, please call the Foundation at 1-888-ASK-IOPO (275-4676) or email info@iopo.org. The director will be delighted to work with you and your financial advisor to design a planned giving instrument that will bring your charitable spirit to life!

Please give. Your contribution to the IOPO Foundation will further IOPO's mission and promote organ, tissue, and eye donation.
