The Bad News

There is a Profound, Critical, Growing Need for Organs

  • More than 100,000 people in the US are currently waiting for life-saving organ transplants
  • Another man, woman, or child is added to the transplant waiting list every 11 minutes
  • Sadly, due to the critical shortage of organs, over 6,000 people will die this year waiting for an organ.

In Indiana, over 1,000 people are on the transplant list, waiting, hoping for an opportunity to continue to live.
