IOPO is the designated organ procurement organization for Indiana. As such, we are focused primarily on facilitating the donation process. However, IOPO plays an important role in the transplantation process. We value our partnerships with Indiana transplant hospitals.
IOPO is often fortunate to help recipients celebrate their life-saving gift when they become IOPO volunteers.
IOPO is pleased to provide potential organ transplant patients with this basic overview on the process of organ transplantation. Patients waiting should always contact their physician or transplant centers for answers to specific needs.
