Teachers - Angels of Donation Knowledge
Teachers who partner with IOPO by working with us to educate their students about donation are near and dear to our heart. Teachers save lives by putting the seed of knowledge about the importance of donation in the minds of our young people. This is done:
- first at an early age during elementary school where students can experience the Life is Cool program, then
- later during high school health class where teachers leverage our Chalk One Up For Life educational materials, and finally
- during Drivers Education Training where all future drivers experience our Organ Donation - Making the Decision video explaining donation and providing students with the requisite knowledge to make an informed decision when the go to the BMV for their license and are asked that all important question "Would you like to become an organ donor".
